<p>Actor Karishma Tanna rose to fame with her character ‘Indu’ in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’. Her role in ‘Naagarjuna – Ek Yodha’ as ‘Maskini’ garnered her much appreciation and love. She recently bagged a cameo in Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt too. <br /><br />Karishma was in the city recently for ‘India Luxury Style Week’ and walked the ramp as a showstopper for ‘Skechers’, the fitness partner for the event.<br /><br />In a conversation with Surupasree Sarmmah, the actor gets candid about her life and work. <br /> <br />How often do you visit Bengaluru?<br />I come here often on work. A few years back, I came to the city and stayed here for a month when I was shooting for a South Indian film. After that, I was back for an event and now again, I am here for work. So it has always been work-related visits. <br /> <br />If you have to pick one character from any yesteryear movie, which one would it be and why?<br />Rekha’s character in the movie ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’. I like the transformation from a simple, demure girl to an extremely glamorous personality. <br /><br />An event in your life that you consider as a turning point...<br />I believe it is yet to come.<br /><br />What are you absolutely bad at — cracking a joke, keeping a secret or solving a math problem?<br />Cracking a joke and solving a math problem (laughs).<br /><br />Your biggest fear...<br />To lose my loved ones and anybody breaking my heart.<br /><br />If you are given a choice to have one super power, what would that be?<br />To live forever.<br /><br />One annoying habit of yours that you absolutely hate...<br />I am very impatient. It is really annoying for me as well as for those around me. <br /><br />A movie title that best suits your life at the moment...<br />‘Befikre’ (laughs). I am a ‘befikra’ right now. <br /><br />Any projects in the pipeline...<br />I just finished shooting for Rajkumar Hirani’s film, where I have a guest appearance opposite actors Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. <br /></p>
