SDM hosts seminar on global warming

 
In his inaugural address, Mangalore University Marine Geology Department Reader Dr H Gangadhar Bhat expressed concern on the increasing heat and its impact on the globe.

Presiding over the meet, SDM College (Ujire) Botany Department Head Dr Pushpendra threw light on the reasons that has made global warming a burning issue in the global scenario.

 “The global warming has been affecting the people in the Western countries in the form of cancer due to their inefficiency to tolerate the harmful ultra-violet rays. As  a whole, this existing problem has fortunately brought about an increased rate of concern towards global warming in those countries,” he observed.
