Nagesh C, Head of Design and Visual Merchandising, Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, says that every collection has a distinct feel to it.
“Honey’s ‘Victorian Elegance Collection’ is inspired by the Victorian era of laces, embroideries and patterns inspired by wall paper prints,” says Nagesh.
Candie’s New York has rolled out outfits that come in bold stripes, slip tops and dresses. The collection also has bright tropical prints which is a must-have this season.
The line under SF Jeans showcases denim trends for young fashionistas.
“This line has denim with badges, varied distressed washes, culottes and dungarees. The attitude that captures the rebel in the youth of today is what forms the core of this line,” says Nagesh.
Latest trends like cold shoulders, crop tops, statement T-shirts, Bardot dresses, embroidered and patched denims, find a place in the many collections showcased by the different clothing lines.
There are a range of accessories ranging from footwear, bags, clutches, earrings, bangles and bracelets that one can pick from and sport with elan.
“The accessories have been designed to complement the outfit. The bags and footwear come in different colours and designs. This has been done to make sure the wearer doesn’t fall short of variety,” adds Nagesh.
