The India International Dance Congress 2017 (IIDC), one of India's biggest Latin dance congress, will be hosting its sixth edition in Clarks Exotica, Devanahalli. It will take place from July 6 to 9, 9 am to 8.30 pm onwards. The dance festival will witness some of the popular names from the Latin dance community performing live in Bengaluru. A total of over 1,000 dancers will be coming over to participate in what is known as Asia’s biggest Latin dance congress.

The dance festival will comprise a visually appealing display of an array of dance forms like kizomba, hip hop, contemporary, belly dance and kathak. A total of 20 dancers in each of the 16 categories will be showcasing talented dance along with vibrant and colourful props. The event will host 280 shows this year, 200 shows including the championships and 80 shows excluding.

IIDC will also witness the amalgamation of some of the biggest names in the Latin dance community. The panel will host renowned names like Alien Ramirez, a 24-time world salsa champion who will be heading the judging panel, and Simone and Serena, five-time world salsa and bachata champions among others.

The panel will also host Martin, director of the Alma Latina, winners of the world salsa team championship, and Omar Muniz, director of the O-Mambo team, which is the three-time winner of the salsa world cup in the team category to name a few.

The IIDC is organised by Latino Rhythms and Dance Academy which is the brainchild of John Anthony.
