<p> The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) held the third round of lottery for allotment of seats in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act quota on Wednesday. <br /><br />In the third round, there were 86,409 applications for the 22,426 seats . A total of 206 seats were held back from the lottery because of court cases and other issues. <br /><br />In the first round, 86,876 students took admission after getting seats in the lottery and 18,863 students took admission after the second round. <br /><br />A total of 1,05,739 students took admission in private schools in first and second rounds this year. Parents will receive SMS regarding the status of their application <br />after the lottery process is completed.</p>
