The family members of V Shruti, who is battling for life after she met with an accident while scuba diving in the US, received passports on Tuesday and are making necessary preparations to submit an application seeking visas.
Confirming this, Karthik, the brother of Shruti, said they had applied for passport at Koramangala Passport Seva Kendra in Bengaluru on July 3 under Tatkal scheme with necessary documents. “We are submitting applications seeking visas for myself, father Vishwanath and mother Shakuntala. The condition of my sister is still critical.”
He said DC M Lokesh, who signed their documents, spoke to the officials concerned at Passport Seva Kendra and urged them to issue visas at the earliest.
