<p>An Amarnath pilgrim died while eight others were injured after a gas cylinder exploded in a bus they were travelling in at Vessu area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday.<br /><br />“They were rushed to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries. Two of the injured are stated to be in critical condition,” a police spokesperson said.<br /><br />The deceased has been identified as Ganjavarm (60), a resident of Andhra Pradesh. <br /><br />Meanwhile, 90,045 pilgrims paid obeisance at the Amarnath Cave shrine in till Wednesday evening. <br /></p>
