The fest gave the students an opportunity to witness a wide range of technical events  from conventional paper presentations and quizzes to fun filled activities like robotics, gaming and designing to name a few.

The technical festival offered a thorough indulgence to the technically inclined with 13 departments of technology and management conducting events, competitions, guest lectures by seasoned orators and workshops. With an aim to ‘plan today for saving tomorrow’, and a tagline of  Summit of Innovation and Technology, the fest adopted the themes of e-waste management and green technology.

Among the various events were Robotics that included categories like amphibian to test the manoeuvrability of robots, designing an autonomous line following robot, robo race and robo wars. Do you know how to Google category allowed students to explore a wider range of search capabilities provided by Google and test their skills on how to use the search engine. Tech Race was a combination of brain storming and solving technical hurdles which put engineers to test on their technical quotient and problem solving ability.

Gautam Shashank, a participant from SIT, Tumkur said, “It was a great event for technically inclined students. The out-of-the-box event and others were great to bring out the creativity in engineering concepts and theories. Being a national level event, we got to test our mettle against bright brains from elsewhere.” Most of the winners were from MVJ College of Engineering followed by Surana College and several other colleges.
