Partial relief to actor in drug case

Giving partial relief to actress Charmee Kaur the Hyderabad High court on Tuesday accepted her request of woman officials interrogating while rejecting her request for the lawyer's presence.

The court however directed the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Telangana Excise department to complete the questioning between 10am -5pm.

Responding to Charmee’s petition urging the court to protect her rights, the Court also said that no samples of the blood, nail or hair could be taken from her without her consent. The court even said that Charmee can attend the SIT interrogation at a place of her choice.

According Mr. Vishnuvardhan Reddy, her counsel she will be attending SIT interrogation on Wednesday as scheduled.

Meanwhile heroin Kajal Aggarwal whose manager Ronnie was arrested by excise sleuths for stocking and trading Ganja tweeted that she herself was shocked after knowing his involvement. “I am absolutely shocked and appalled about this whole incident with Ronnie. I am in zero support of this and any behavior detrimental to the hygiene of our society,” she said.

She further added that just because he ran errands for her, she can’t their personal lives. “My parents have always managed my career. I am unaware of their (Ronnie) whereabouts and activities once their professional duties with regards to me are completed,” she said.

On Tuesday, the SIT team has completed questioning of Art Director Dharma Rao, alias Chinna in connection with the ongoing investigation of drug racket.
