KIA, first airport to launch custom-made patrolling bikes

The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) now has its own patrolling bikes.

Introduced for the first time in any airport in the country, the custom-made motorcycles were launched on Monday.

Two bikes have been introduced now for ground traffic control duties within the airport premises. An airport spokesperson said these bikes will help in quicker and seamless movement of personnel through the network of roads and pathways inside the
campus.

More such two-wheelers are expected to be introduced soon.
