The committee will plan and implement the proposed memorial for Vishnuvardhan at Abhiman Studios on the outskirts of Bangalore.
Committee members
Minister for Excise, Information, IT BT and BWSSB Katta Subramanya Naidu will be the vice-president and members of the actor’s family, actor-politician Ambareesh, President of the Karnataka Film Chambers of Commerce, Kannada and Culture Department Secretary are among the other committee members.
The Chief Minister has earmarked Rs 10 crore n the 2010-11 Budget for the memorial.
