Harry Potter may return, hints Rowling

The author released the final installment of the book almost three years ago. Rowling became one of the richest women in the world since her Potter novels became a phenomenon in 1997, racking up book sales of more than 400 million worldwide, the Daily Express reported.

The book also inspired a blockbuster series starring actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the lead. The final film is being shot in two parts. Rowling released the final tome in a series of seven, 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' in 2007.

The author admitted that she cried when she finally completed the story, but insisted she was finished with Potter and his magical world.However, Rowling, during a special Easter reading of her work at the White House in Washington, DC, told the audience that she would consider returning to the story "maybe 10 years from now".

Rowling also revealed she is concentrating on new material at present, telling fans, "I'm quite sure in the not-too-distant future I will bring out another book."
