<p>Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister H K Patil will launch the state government’s ambitious cloud seeding programme in Bengaluru on Monday amid several districts reeling under severe drought.<br /><br />A special aircraft has been flown in from the US for the Rs 30-crore initiative to end poor monsoon across the state.<br /><br />The project will be launched at Jakkur Airport. Installation of a weather radar at the Gandhi Krishi Vigyan Kendra (GKVK) has been completed. The cloud seeding project will be taken up Bengaluru, Gadag, Yadgir among others.<br /><br /></p>
