According to the police sources, thirty-year-old Rachna pushed her molester, Anil Kumar, down on to the ground with the help of her parents and stabbed him repeatedly until he died on the spot. The courageous lady did not run from the spot after killing her molester. She continued to stand there even as hundreds of people watched her in disbelief.
A police team later arrested Rachna from her home in the village and a case of murder has been registered against her and her father Sant Ram.
Rachana, a landless labourer, was married to one Balister about six years back and has three children. While her husband works at a brick klin in Punjab, she lived with her parents at Tuglakpur village in the district.
Anil had tried to molest her six months back also. Rachna had then also fought her molester, who had tried to force him upon her and had bitten her on her cheek.
