Kishore fuels South's innings win

At the IAF grounds, South, replying to President’s XI’s first innings total of 239, declared their innings at a commanding 401 for eight in 104 overs, after resuming at their overnight score of 232 for four.

The President’s XI lads after a dissapointing performance in the first innings, fared worse in the second crumbling to paltry 80 runs and handing their opponents the win on a platter.

South dominated the proceedings once again with the likes of Aparjith and Shreyas Gopal going on a run spree. Aparjith (174 n.o.) went on to add another 65 runs to his overnight tally of 109 while team-mate Shreyas (100) made merry, stacking up another 63 runs to his bedtime score of 37.

With a 162-run lead, South made a sporting declaration. However, President’s XI were not up to the task, Kishore, who picked three for 52 in the first innings, once again proved to be their nemisis claiming 8/15.

Brief scores: At IAF Ground: President’s XI: 239 all out in 108.5 overs and 80 all out in 51.4 overs (Srikar Bharath 31; Kishore 8-15) lt to ZCA South: 401/8 decl in 104 overs (Aparjith 174 n.o.,Vihari 59, Shreyas Gopal 100; Suchith 3-83).
At RWF Ground: ZCA East: 262 all out in 104 overs and 117/3 in 34 overs (Abhishek Raman 52, Vishal Singh 37) drew ZCA West: 276 all out in 122.4 overs (Akhil Herwadkar 68, Vijay Zol 114 n.o., Snell Patel 34, Akarshit Gomel 28; Prem Pradhan 2-32, Ronit Singh 2-87, Sunzow Brahma 2-7).
