BBMP to shift power lines on TenderSure roads

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has been entrusted with shifting Bescom power lines along roads taken up under TenderSure.

Bengaluru Development Minister K J George held a meeting with top BBMP and Bescom officials to ensure better coordination between the two civic agencies. There was confusion on which agency should shift Bescom power lines along the stretches taken up for development under TenderSure.

According to official sources, it was decided at the meeting that BBMP will take up the task of shifting the power lines along the stretches already taken up for development, while Bescom will do the shifting for all projects that will be taken up in the future.
