Vikas Kumar takes charge as SP

Addressing the reporters on Monday, he said that providing people-friendly police system will be his priority.  He said that he will visit all the police stations in the district, interact with local leaders and try to understand the problems existing in the district.

“Instilling confidence among people on police system and controlling crime in the district will be my aim. People are free to meet me and tell me about their problems in person,” he said and added that the phone numbers SP and all other officials will be displayed in all major junctions in the city to increase accessibility of people to police.
