The new flyover at Delmia junction on JP Nagar 15th Cross will be opened by January 2018, according to sources in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).
The two-way, four-lane flyover is being constructed at a cost of Rs 26 crore.
Mayor R Sampath Raj told reporters during an inspection of civil works in Dollars Colony and JP Nagar on Monday morning, “The rajakaluve in this locality, which has not been de-silted for years, has to be cleaned to prevent frequent flooding of homes.”
The mayor also sought a detailed project report for the work for which Rs 10 crore has been set aside.
