Congress flays Centre for lack of job opportunities

Congress workers staged a protest in front of the Head Post Office here, on Tuesday, condemning the Centre for its failure in creating jobs and keep its promises of generating job to the youths.

Belagavi City block Youth Congress workers, led by their office bearers Nadeem Mokashi, Vinod Sutagatti, criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi of making false promises.

Prime Minister Modi had assured that if elected to power his government would create two crore jobs annually but the Centre had miserably failed in ensuring job during its three-and-half-year tenure. Following the failure of the Union government, youths of the country were suffering.

Modi government by making false promises had only cheated the youth, they alleged.

Economy in shambles

People were wise and had been watchful of Modi government move and were waiting to bring the change.

The economy of the country was in shambles during the present government.

The only contribution of Modi government was that it had harmed a stable economy through its wrong economic policies. The gross domestic product had witness a nose dive which had resulted in inflation and common man who was affected the most, they alleged.
