2 die in cylinder explosion

A 31-year-old software engineer and his brother who were injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Kadugodi, succumbed to death on Wednesday. The condition of the techie's wife and his daughter is said to be critical.

The deceased are Narendra Sharma, a software engineer in a private firm in ITPL, and Harendra (28). The injured are Shilpa (27), and her daughter Arya. The family hails from Agra in Uttar Pradesh. Grandparents of Arya have shifted her to a hospital in Delhi for further treatment.

A senior police officer said that a family of four, including toddler, were severely injured after an explosion due to LPG leakage at their house at Veeraswamy Layout on Sunday.
