Video clip claiming Hardik in compromising situation goes viral

Patel quota stir leader Hardik Patel on Monday  got a taste of dirty politicking in poll bound Gujarat as Assembly elections draw near, with a sleaze video showcasing a person resembling him engaging in compromising and intimate moments with a woman.

It is being alleged across social media platforms that the man in the video is Hardik Patel. However, DH cannot verify the authenticity of the clip.

Hardik, for his part, defended himself tweeting, "Dirty politics has begun now. It will not make any difference to me by defaming me. But the image of the Gujarati women is being tarnished."

Speaking to media persons, he said that people behind the sleaze had joined BJP. "What can one expect from those who earlier released similar CD of Sanjay Joshi."

Hardik had last week voiced apprehension that the BJP might try to defame him with a sex CD for electoral gains.

"The BJP has prepared a doctored sex CD to defame me and it will be released just before the election...just wait, watch and enjoy," Hardik had said.

Couple of years ago when Hardik began his agitation, a sex CD had surfaced claiming that it was Hardik in the CD. Several images of Hardik showing him enjoying his drink, smoking, sporting weapons too have been doing rounds on social media for long.
