Titan boss and CFO enter Tata Sons board

Bhaskar Bhat, Managing Director of Titan, and Saurabh Agrawal, Group Chief Financial Officer, have been elevated to the Board of Directors of the Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group.

Bhat is currently the Managing Director of Titan Company and has helped his company drive brand value and a market cap of $10 billion for the company.

Agrawal, the Group Chief Financial Officer, brings deep capital market knowledge and valuable cross industry experience to the Tata group.

Commenting on their appointment, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons, said, "We welcome Bhaskar and Saurabh to the Board of Directors. The Board will benefit from the tremendous experience and knowledge of these professionals in multiple domains. I wish them luck and look forward to working with them."

The over $105 billion Tata group operates in more than 100 countries across six continents.

Around 65%  of the equity share capital of Tata Sons is held by philanthropic trusts, which support education, health, livelihood generation and art and culture.
