<p align="justify">Former Ranji cricketer Panambur Narasimha Bhandary passed away at his residence due to old-age related ailments on Friday. He was aged 78 years.</p>.<p align="justify">Fondly referred as 'Bab' Bhandary in cricketing circles, Narasimha Bhandary played for Karnataka and Bihar Ranji sides during his first-class career from 1959-60 to 1961-62. He played along with legends EAS Prasanna and Brijesh Patel.</p>.<p align="justify">He made a name for himself in the domestic cricket with his fruitful stint with Bihar Ranji side. He was right-hand batsman and a leg spinner.</p>.<p align="justify">Bab Bhandary also played against the visiting England and Pakistan sides. Bhandary was also good at tennis </p>.<p align="justify">He is survived by his wife Sheela and son Dilip. The last rites of Narasimha Bhandary were performed at Boloor Crematorium on Saturday.</p>
