The Union government has appointed Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister U T Khader as member of the national governing board of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), stated a press release.
The BIS is headed by Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and it has six members including U T Khader.
