27 flight take-offs delayed at KIA

As a result of dense fogging at the Kempegowda International Airport, here in the city, the departure of 27 flights was delayed for nearly an hour on Tuesday morning.  

Five other flights that did take-off on time were forced to change their scheduled flight routes.    

ANI has tweeted that as the dense fog which affected the pilot's long range vision, flights were affected between 4.45 am to 5.30 am. For this period, all take-offs had to be postponed to wait for the weather to get better.
