Centre for Health and Development (CHD) Group and its partners Unicef, National Health Mission Government of Karnataka, District Disaster Management Authority Dakshina Kannada, Milagres College and Shanti Sandesha Trust organised a two-day medical officers training workshop from Monday.

A release said that the workshop is aimed at capacity building of health professionals and make them ready-to-be-deployed in case of any natural and man-made disasters.

The workshop is being attended by selected doctors across all the 30 districts of Karnataka and few doctors across the country.

This is the beginning of many such workshop series to build a disaster-resilient nation by CHD Group and its affiliated partners.
