An impressive move

Asano is an acclaimed actor in Japan and this effort of his just shows how much importance he gives to method acting. The superstar, who has teamed up with the iconic South Indian actor for a Walt Disney venture The 19th Step, has booked an appointment with Kamal.

Tadanobu intends to meet Kamal to discuss and practice their scenes before the film goes on floors, so that they can build up their on screen camaraderie. The move has worked wonders and has impressed Kamal very much.

The Indo-Japanese project which also stars Asin as an Indian princess in the lead, is being directed by Bharath Bala. A R Rahman is composing the score for the movie and Resul Pookutty is in charge of the sound. Kamal plays the role of Asin’s martial arts guru, who teaches her many suave moves to combat evil.
