Don't pay heed to rumours: SP

Chikkamagaluru SP Annamalai has appealed to the public to not pay heed to rumours spread through social media on alleged clash between two groups on the day of Eid-Milad and Datta Jayanthi shobhayatre.

He said that miscreants have been engaged in spreading rumours through social media. Both Eid-Milad and Datta Jayanthi Shobhayathre were held peacefully in the district. No clashes have been reported. Strict action would be initiated against those who have been spreading rumours to disrupt peace in the district.
