<p align="justify">The Kalasa Banduri Struggle Forum and other organisations have threatened to intensify their agitation if three major political parties in the state - the Congress, the BJP, the JD(S) - fail to resolve the Mahadayi river water dispute by January 15, 2018.</p>.<p align="justify">Representatives of the organisations held a protest meeting in front of Town Hall in Bengaluru on Friday in support of their demand.</p>.<p align="justify">Addressing the protesters, writer Chandrashekar Patil said that while people having been seeking completion of the Kalasa Banduri project for several decades now, nothing much has moved forward.</p>.<p align="justify">Political parties have been making false promises, turning a blind eye to the sufferings of the people, he said.</p>
