<p align="justify">A two-and-a-half year old leopardess fell into a trap laid by the Forest department at Shingenahalli under Dandiganahalli hobli in the taluk on Thursday night. It was later released into the forest.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Upon receiving several complaints from the residents of the village, the department had placed a cage a few days ago.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">According to Range Forest Officer Hemanth, the leopard was released into the forest after it was examined to be in a healthy condition.</p>
