Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar observed that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's act of merely writing letter to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar would be of no use, without convincing Goa Congress leaders who are agitating against Mahadayi water sharing.
He told media persons here on Sunday that the Congress is playing politics in Mahadayi issue since beginning.
Congress and JD(S) are like brothers in doing injustice to North Karnataka region. They are like two faces of the same coin, and A and B teams of the same side, Mr Shettar charged, adding that whatever development works taken up in the region are all due to the efforts of the BJP only.
