The Returning Officer has directed the polling officers to take additional precautionary measure for the smooth conduct of the polls. <br /><br />53 nominations filed<br /><br />On the second day of the nomination filing for the Gram Panchayat election, a total of 53 members filed the nomination in Kolar. In Kolar - 13, Malur - 15, Bangarpet - 18, Mulbagal - 7. None from Srinivaspur taluk has filed the papers. <br /><br />In Chikkaballapur<br /><br />As many as 29 nomination papers have been filed on the second day in Chikkaballapur and till now a total of 63 nominations have been submitted.</p>
