Two unknown persons wearing helmets attacked a man with a sword at Kalladka in Bantwal on Tuesday.
DK Superintendent of Police C H Sudhir Kumar Reddy said that the injured is Keshava, a murder accused in Jaleel Karopady murder case who suffered injuries on his forehead following the attack but is now out of danger.
It may be recalled that Jaleel Karopady, vice-president of Karopady Gram Panchayat in Bantwal taluk, was hacked to death on the panchayat building premises on April 20.
Konaje police arrested two persons for their involvement in the theft of mobiles from a shop at Mudipu Junction on November 3, 2017. Th arrested are Ziyad (19) and Mohammed Ashraf alias Ashraf alias Irfan (19). Both are residents of Manjeshwara.
