<p>Two unknown persons wearing helmets attacked a man with a sword at Kalladka in Bantwal on Tuesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">DK Superintendent of Police C H Sudhir Kumar Reddy said that the injured is Keshava, a murder accused in Jaleel Karopady murder case who suffered injuries on his forehead following the attack but is now out of danger.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It may be recalled that Jaleel Karopady, vice-president of Karopady Gram Panchayat in Bantwal taluk, was hacked to death on the panchayat building premises on April 20.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Theft: 2 arrested</p>.<p class="bodytext">Konaje police arrested two persons for their involvement in the theft of mobiles from a shop at Mudipu Junction on November 3, 2017. Th arrested are Ziyad (19) and Mohammed Ashraf alias Ashraf alias Irfan (19). Both are residents of Manjeshwara.</p>
