<p>Tumkur University and Development Revolution Forum would hold a state-level workshop on setting up of water resources expert J S Paramashivaiah Study Chair.</p>.<p>Addressing reporters here on Tuesday the Forum president Kundranahalli Ramesh stated that the workshop would be held on January 9 at the Visvesaraya auditorium of Tumkur University.</p>.<p>Forum's chief patron G S Basavaraj would deliver inaugural address, while Tumkur University in charge vice-chancellor Prof Jayasheela would preside. Water Resources Department Principal secretary Rakesh Singh would detail aims and objectives of the J S Paramashivaiah Study Chair. Deputy commissioner K P Mohan Raj would speak on Nava Karnataka Vision Document-2025. Visvesaraya Jala Nigama Limited managing director K Jayaprakash would also address.</p>.<p>Central government's New India-2022 and the State government's Nava Karnataka Vision Document-2025 would be presented during the workshop. About 62 representatives of various political parties, 342 elected representatives, representatives of 46 universities had been invited to the workshop. There would be a detailed discussion about Nava Karnataka Vision Document-2025 and its future course of action would be decided, he said.</p>.<p>" J S Paramashivaiah is not with us today. However, we can take forward water projects he conceived. It has been decided to set up a chair in his name to realise all his water projects," Ramesh said.</p>.<p>There would be an interaction sessions about the Chair, he said and requested representatives of various associations to attend and share their suggestions.</p>
