JOIN USPurandaranarayana Bhat K, graduate assistant, Vidyabodhini High School Balila, Sullia has won the national level best mathematics teacher award instituted by All India Ramanujan Maths Club, Rajkot.
The award was conferred during the 12th national maths convention organised by Raman Science and Technology Foundation at Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
He had won the National Best Teacher Award 2016 on September 5, at Vijyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Bhat is known for innovations in teachings and in making the understanding of concepts easy to the children. Earlier, he had also won the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial State-Level Best Science Teacher award in 2010.
He has been continuously engaged in making new innovations in science towards encouraging students to get engaged in learning science and mathematics in an interesting way, said a release.
