<p>Dingaleshwara Swami, pontiff of the Balehosur Mutt, said on Wednesday that heads of Veerashaiva mutts had given conditional consent for a public discussion on the separate religion issue.</p>.<p>He told reporters that an unanimous decision to this effect was taken at a meeting of Veerashaiva-Lingayat mutt heads in the city on Wednesday. </p>.<p>But their consent comes with a condition that the meeting should be held under suitable security in government or semi-government premises in Hubballi or Bengaluru on February 1, instead of the dates and venues proposed by MLC Basavaraj Horatti, he said.</p>.<p>They have proposed that seven members may participate from each of the two groups. A prominent person should supervise the discussion, which shall be fully videographed. There should be no scope for personal attacks, Dingaleshwara Swami said. </p>
