Siddaramaiah is an opportunist: Vishwanath

Former MP and JD(S) leader A H Vishwanath said the arrogance level of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has crossed the limits and the people would teach him a befitting lesson in the upcoming elections.

Speaking to reporters at the tourist bungalow here on Thursday, Vishwanath said, "Siddaramaiah is an opportunist. He is capable of exploiting people for his own benefits and deceive them. He acts like a high command now."

The people of the state are fed up with the gimmicks of the Congress party leaders during the Sadhana Samavesha. Hence, they will choose the JD(S) as an alternative in the upcoming elections, he opined.

"Law and order has collapsed in the state. Even though several people belonging to the Hindu and the Muslim outfits are being murdered, the government has turned into a mute spectator. Both the national parties the Congress and the BJP are trying to create trouble in the society for their personal gains," he alleged.
