Rs 75-lakh for stadium upgradation

 
He was speaking after inspecting the stadium, on Tuesday and said the it will be upgraded and the athletes will have some more facilities.

The proposal had been sent to district in-charge minister Arvind Limbavali and the issue will be discussed with the officials concerned and action taken, he said.

District Youth Services officer K Varalakshmi said they had come on an inspection, based  on the proposal by the legislator and the direction from the district in-charge minister.

A report would be submitted after collecting all the information pertaining to the upgradation of the stadium, she said and added that the locals should cooperate and protect the interest of the stadium.

Zilla Panchayat junior engineer Aleem, former municipal president K Chandra Reddy, S A Parthasarathy, Railway Advisory Committee member Kishore Kumar and others were present.
