Corp bank facilitates DASA fee payment online

 
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which has been handling the around 2,200 DASA seats in more than 30 reputed Indian Institutions for admission of eligible applicants from all over the globe, has entrusted the responsibility of co-ordination to NITK, Surathkal, from the academic year 2010-11 onwards for next 3 years. Corporation Bank has signed an MoU with NITK to handle the entire banking process involved in the admission of Students from all over the world under DASA Scheme. Corporation Bank has made payment totally electronic/online/web based process.

Each of the applicants can access the website of DASA (http://dasanit.org), fill in the applications online and submit the application to get the registration number. Thereafter, the applicants will have to remit the fee payable in US Dollars or equivalent Indian Rupees (for Nepal and Bhutan). Corporation Bank has facilitated this online payment by any Bank Debit/Credit Cards (VISA/Master) apart from other options of payment through SWIFT/Demand Drafts, informed a press release.
