"Education and politics have been stagnant without any change for a very long time," said Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Professor Prof Anant Agarwal.
Delivering an endowment lecture on Digital education transformation at St Aloysius College here, he emphasised the need to upscale workforce to cater to the needs of transforming job trends in the future. He introduced three important trends in the future of education, Modular Education, Omni channel Education and Lifelong Education.
St Aloysius College Institutions Rector Fr Dionysius Vaz presided over the programme. Principal Dr Praveen Martis and Computer Application Faculty Dean Ashok Prakash were present.
