Briefing reporters, Ramsons Director Sunder Belani said: “we will initially manufacture D’hooge products in the existing plant on Mysore road, for which we have added 20 additional staff and will open another plant to manufacture the same in bulk in a year’s time and hire around 100 people there.” Belani added that the firm will invest around Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore for the new plant.
Further, Alliance Group President Mike Schoeb said that the equipment manufactured by Ramsons will initially be sold in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and the firm will buy back more for its other markets once the products meet the required quality an d other standards.
