<p align="justify" class="title">The BJP and the Congress workers clashed again on Tuesday during Congress president Rahul Gandhi's visit to his Lok Sabha constituency, Amethi.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Rahul had to cancel his meeting at Gauriganj as BJP workers, carrying posters and banners containing slogans against the Congress president, crowded the main market.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Congress workers, who also reached there a little later, clashed with the saffron party workers prompting the police to use mild force to disperse them, sources said.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The workers of both parties clashed at Jagdishpur also, the police said.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Rahul, however, visited Jais, Musafirkhana and other parts of Amethi on the concluding day of his two-day visit and met a cross section of the electorate.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">He also met party workers and common people at Munshiganj guest house and also accepted their applications.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The Congress president, during an interaction with the traders, attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over GST and said that the business community had been facing a lot of problems owing to the same.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">He also accused the BJP government of meting out step motherly treatment to Amethi and scrapping several developmental projects.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The police have registered cases against Congress leaders in connection with the clashes with the BJP workers at Salon in Raebareli district on Monday during Rahul's visit.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">A case has also been registered against another local Congress leader for reportedly pasting a poster showing Rahul as Lord Rama and Modi as Ravana.</p>
