<p>Former MLA and son of former governor B Rachaiah, A R Krishnamurthy, announced his decision to quit the BJP, here, on Saturday.</p>.<p>Addressing a media conference, he said the party leaders in the district, have been neglecting him.</p>.<p>"Even when there were rumours that I would join the Congress, neither the district in-charge secretaries nor the district BJP president contacted me. At a time when the Parivarthana Yatra is arriving in the district, I have not been consulted on any matter. There is no mention of my name or display of my photo anywhere. District president K R Mallikarjunappa, in a meeting in Bengaluru, recently said that the BJP can win in three Assembly constituencies, except in Kollegal. His report that I am incapable of winning from Kollegal, hurt me," <br />he said.</p>.<p>However, he declined to confirm that he would join the Congress. He said, he would tour across the district and seek the advise of his supporters, before taking a decision on his next political move.</p>
