Members of the Bar Association boycotted court proceedings, on Thursday, for the third day in a row, demanding the transfer of Nazarbad sub-inspector Yellalinga for allegedly assaulting an advocate, recently.

The advocates, who gathered near Mahatma Gandhi's bust, in front of the court complex, staged a protest, demanding the suspension of Nazarbad sub-inspector for allegedly assaulting advocate Gokul Govardhan, also BJP city Yuva Morcha president, on Sunday.

It may be mentioned that when Govardhan and his aides visited the police station to lodge a complaint in connection with some illegal activities on the government school premises, the police allegedly abused and assaulted them.

Lawyers harassment

A video of the lawyers, who were harassing roadusers during the protest, has gone viral on the social media. In the video, an advocate is seen pushing a woman in the public, following a verbal altercation. However, his colleagues manage to control the lawyer.
