<p class="bodytext">Those who try to obstruct Prime Minister Narendra Modi's event in Bengaluru, will be thrown into the sacrificial fire (<span class="italic">aahuti</span>), said BJP national general secretary in-charge of Karnataka P Muralidhar Rao on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He was speaking to reporters after performing the 'bhumi puja' at the Palace Grounds ahead of Modi's visit to Bengaluru on February 4 to participate in the valedictory ceremony of the BJP's Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivartan Yatra.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The BJP leaders performed several 'yagas' and 'homas' to ensure that there were no pitfalls during the event, as pro-Kannada groups are planning to observe a bandh on the same day seeking early resolution of the Mahadayi river water sharing dispute.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The BJP has accused that the Karnataka bandh (on January 25) and the February 4 bandh were state sponsored.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"The BJP has performed the homas and yagnas to ensure that those who come in way (of the event) while be destroyed. The Parivartana Yatra under the leadership of B S Yeddyurappa has been a big success like the 'Ashwamedha'. This success has shaken Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who then gave a bandh call to coincide with the BJP yatra in Mysuru," Rao said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He said that the BJP, however, would not rest until it sent Siddaramaiah packing home.</p>
