As many as 30 Jain munis, took out a padayatra from Madhya Pradesh to take part in the Mahamstakabhisheka to be held in Shravanabelagola on February 18. The Jain munis arrived at Arsikere town on Friday. The Jain munis had covered 1,970 kms by foot from Madhya Pradesh.
They were accommodated at Madalu Swarnagowri Devi Samudaya Bhavan in Arsikere.
Acharya Vishudha Sagar Maharaj delivered a discourse on Bahubali on Sunday morning.He highlighted the importance of non-violence and spread the message of peace for the well-being of the people.
Explaining about the sacrifices made by Bahubali, he said prayers are important to cleanse the mind as devotion can make a person diligent.
