JOIN USFor a change, they forgot their pain and just laughed for sometime, thanks to magic show staged by popular magician Nagendra Prasad, who staged the show at Children’s Block to mark Dr Rajkumar’s 82nd birth anniversary.
Prasad began the show around 11.30 am and went on to perform different tricks which evoked laughter. The children clapped, applauded and laughed when Prasad created flowers, sweets, chocolates and live rabbit out of different materials.
In one of his tricks, Nagendra made a ‘hole’ in a patient’s head, poured water into it and made the water come out of the patient’s hand as he pumped. He involved a few child patients by making them perform some activities. What happened next just moved everyone present around. Parents, particularly mothers, rushed towards Prasad and asked him to cure the disease of their children by doing some magic. They said they smiled for sometime not because they watched the show, but because they watched their children laugh due to the magic tricks.
