A telephone surveillance centre will soon be set up here which will monitor all national and international phone calls made and received in the City. “It will help in the detection of any conspiracy against the City and prevent future attacks,” said City Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari.
The department also plans to install surveillance cameras at key points across the City.
“We have already identified the places to install these cameras, which are equipped to rotate 360 degree,” added City Police Commissioner.
