JOIN USInfosys Cricket Club and VISL Sports Club, Bhadravathi will clash in the final of the KSCA Group II, Division III knockout tournament after posting convincing semifinal victories.
While VISL, riding on Koushik's unbeaten 74, beat EPF Recreation Club by six wickets, Infosys were spurred by Nabyendu Ghosh's unbeaten half-century in the nine-wicket defeat of ADE Sports Club.
At the BEL ground, Rohan GL bagged 3/32 while Kishore, Niranjan Boloor and Koushik took two wickets apiece as VISL bowled out EPF for 163 in 30 overs. Koushik then shone with the bat too, slamming an unbeaten 74 as VISL chased down the target for the loss of just four wickets and plenty of overs to spare.
The story was similar at the NAL ground where Naveen Prasad scalped 3/35 and Rakesh and Raghavendra HS took two wickets apiece as Infosys dismissed ADE for just 160 in 37.2 overs. Nabyendu then ensured the chase was a cakewalk, hitting 74 not out, as Infosys coasted home in just 21.4 overs.
