Indian engineer strikes gold in Dubai lucky draw

A resident of Dubai for the past 16 years, Mohammed Azhar Ali is now planning a better future for his family.

"I have four kids and this prize will be used to provide for their future and ensure that they get the best education possible" he said, adding, "I am also very keen to use the money for charity so that I can share my rewards with the less fortunate in society"
He was declared winner of the draw for this month by Dubai Bank for investing in its Kunooz account and was awarded his cheque by Tariq Al Farsi, Head of Branches at Dubai Bank.

"The distinctive Shari'a-compliant nature of the product has also struck a chord with our customers along with the opportunity to earn exciting prizes," said Tariq Al Farsi.
Ali had signed up for the account in July last year.

"When I first heard about Kunooz, what struck me was the distinctive nature of the product, given its Shari'a-compliant status which was very important to me," Ali said.
"Having the opportunity to earn benefits and rewards on a daily basis was equally attractive," he added.
